Northern Frontiers Mediation provides an affordable and confidential Parenting Proposal Preparation service which involves a separated parent meeting individually with one of our Family Law Mediators and generating a Parenting Agreement Proposal. This is useful when one party does not wish to attend mediation, for whatever reason. The matter can still be progressed by providing the other party with a clear outline of your proposal with regards to your child/ren and parenting arrangements moving forward.

Northern Frontiers Mediation offers our years of experience in generating well-rounded parenting agreements in the best interests of your children. This can then be given to the other parent for their review, and possibly form the basis for court orders etc.

Northern Frontiers Mediation has experienced Family Dispute Resolution Practitioners (FDRPs) who are mediators accredited with the Attorney-General’s Department, Canberra. They are authorised to provide dispute resolution services for separated families, and can inform you about the family law system, assess whether your matter is appropriate for mediation and provide a process for you to develop your own parenting plan. This service does not provide legal advice, and we can provide appropriate referrals if requested.
Having a well-prepared parenting proposal is important regardless of where you are within the family law system. If agreement is not reached outside of court, you can use your proposal to indicate what conditions you would like included on a court order.

Pricing:
Parenting Proposal Preparation service sessions are charged at $220.00 for a standard 60 minute session. Longer sessions can be arranged and flexible session times are available from 7.30am weekdays. Sessions can be in-person or via phone/video chat (FaceTime, Zoom, MSTeams).
